Dr. Scott Harden, Woodstock DentistAfter earning his Master’s degree in Public Health from the Emory University Medical School, Dr. Scott R. Harden received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Emory University School of Dentistry. He has continued to study the field through a variety of continuing education courses that focus on cosmetic dentistry and related dental topics.

Part of the success of Dr. Harden’s career can be attributed to his inexhaustible desire for improvement through continuous postgraduate education and implementation of the latest technology. In his 20th year of practice, Dr. Scott Harden has focused his goals on developing an excellent dental staff; delivering cosmetic dentistry and restorative dentistry (including dental implants) using the latest technology for patient comfort and relaxation; sharing his knowledge of dentistry through professional organizations, study clubs, public speaking, and publishing numerous articles.

Dr. Harden’s media appearances include the nationally televised “Smile Makeover” on the Discovery Channel, during which he coordinated treatment with Dr. Brian Maloney, a plastic surgeon practicing in Atlanta. Dr. Harden was named Dentist of the Year and listed in Strathmore’s Who’s Who. In 2004, Dr. Scott Harden was entered into the Guinness Book of World Records for extracting the world’s smallest tooth.

Dedicated to cutting-edge dentistry, Dr. Harden has served as the Restorative Director of several study clubs, including the Seattle Study Club and the Cherokee Study Club. He currently acts as a Dental Materials Evaluator for the Dental Advisor and Clinical Research Associate, both of which are the leading sources for the assessment of new dental products. This position allows him to stay abreast of the latest advancements in dentistry and offer the latest products to our patients.

Dr. Harden is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the Northwest District Dental Association, and the International Congress of Oral Implantology.

Married for over 20 years to his beautiful wife, Kathy, Dr. Scott Harden always makes time for his family. He has two wonderful children, Brittany and Spencer, and strongly emphasizes family values and the joy they bring. In his free time, Dr. Harden enjoys tennis, racquetball, golf, studio recording, creating AV productions, coaching soccer and baseball, flying, scuba diving, skiing, dirt biking, and woodworking.
