At Fountain View we offer several types of payment options: cash, check,
Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express for payment. If your
insurance plan has a co-pay, the amount is due at the time of your visit.
Any amount not covered by your insurance is your responsibility and is also due.
If you desire to set up an easy payment plan for more extensive care,
we work closely with CapitalOne Healthcare Finance. When you complete
your consultation, you will meet with our financial coordinator, Diane
West to discuss your payment preferences as they apply to your particular
treatment. She will also confer with you on insurance issues and other ways
to make the dental work you need affordable. If you have any questions before
your visit about finances, please call us at 770-926-0000.

In this day and age, insurance can be confusing. Our office is more
than happy to work with most all insurance carriers by filing insurance
claims for you and accepting direct payment. However, as the patient,
you are ultimately responsible for your account. We would be happy to
answer any more questions you may have; simply ask one of our friendly
and knowledgeable team members. We are here to assist you.

At Fountain View, we customize our care around your needs. In order
to prescribe a particular method, we would first have to examine your
mouth. If your teeth are cracked, chipped, or discolored, we may
recommend one or more of our restorative services, such as veneers
or porcelain crowns. Dr. Harden can evaluate your potential for
whitening your teeth based on their current color and the causes
of any discoloration. We may also recommend the Rembrandt Whitening
Tray System as a way to white your teeth. If you are interested
in whiter teeth, ask us
which services or system would work.

As your dental professionals, we care
about both your comfort and safety. Our practice follows a variety
of precautions to make sure your visit to our office is a safe one.
First, our team is thoroughly trained in the latest sterilization
procedures and research. All of our instruments are biologically
monitored to ensure quality of service. Most importantly, we have
a sterilization center where we can maximize efficient sterilization
and minimize the chance of contamination through human error.

Bleeding gums are the first sign of
a more serious problem, typically an infection. The irritation can
be caused by a variety of factors, from gingivitis to a leaking filling.
Bleeding gums may also be a sign of gum
disease, which affects nearly
75 percent of the population in some form. If your gums are bleeding, we
recommend that you call us at 770-926-0000 to schedule an appointment.
When you come in, we will complete a periodontal assessment of your
mouth. This includes a review of probing depths, X-rays, a clinical
examination, and a bleeding assessment. After this comprehensive
examination, Dr. Harden and our staff can diagnose your condition
and help you stop the problem.

Often, we recommend crowns, veneers,
on-lays, inlays and partials as part of a permanent restoration
treatment. They last longer, look better, and are easier to wear in
your mouth.
When we recommend a particular treatment, we believe that you will
feel comfortable when you know more about what we are prescribing.

of some of the products we use.
Whenever you have questions, we also
encourage you to ask us. As professionals in the dental field, we
keep up on the latest research and findings. Dr. Harden is very personable
and can answer your questions. You can also refer to CAESY, a patient
education system that you can access to print information on a particular
procedure that we might use.

These days, there are many ways to
improve the appearance of your teeth without braces. If you're interested
in straightening or changing the appearance of your teeth, we offer
smile makeovers consultations where you can learn how we can enhance the aesthetics
of your teeth and boost your confidence. When you schedule a smile makeover,
we carefully assess your needs so Dr. Harden can deliver the look
you want to achieve. Using our cosmetic services and expertise, we
create the look you want with study models, diagnostic wax-ups, and
close-up photos of your mouth; this allows us to create a repeatable,
successful outcome and results in a beautiful smile for you

In a smile analysis, Dr. Harden looks
at all the factors that compose your smile; these are the shape of
a smile, the size, the smile line, and the position of your teeth,
lips, and gums when you smile. He listens to what you want to accomplish
and addresses any concerns you may have.
After the smile analysis
is complete, Dr. Harden begins the smile design. He will use study
models, diagnostic wax-ups, and close-up photos or short films of
your mouth to present an image of your new smile and the necessary
steps it will take to achieve this. Then, he will review the smile
design results with you and discuss the next steps to make it happen. back to top |
